Day 1

• Welcome to the most amazing tour of the natural world you have ever taken in this part of the globe. It’s the beginning of getting “Far from the Madding Crowd”. Your pickup will be from Kolkata, West Bengal, which arrives at your location at around 1:55 PM in the form of an AC vehicle.
• Your road journey begins; initially, you will be traveling through different lanes, alleys, and roads of the city to get on the highway. While traveling through the highway you will realize that slowly, steadily you are leaving the hustling bustling metropolis of Kolkata behind and entering the suburban areas near Kolkata.
• Traveling further you will observe, suddenly you are out of the urban jungle into an open area, surrounded by greenery as far as your eyes can see. Slowly you will realize that stress on your eyes has reduced with this soothing and comforting view of the green rural Bengal.
• Further down the road amid this vast greenery, you can see the magnificent mud houses of rural Bengal dotting the landscape.
• You will reach Godkhali Jetty between 4:30 PM – 5:00 PM, wherein you will board your Houseboat and refreshing Welcome Drinks will be served. You can enjoy the heavenly view of the Sunset in water from your Houseboat.
• Your Houseboat will leave the jetty for Sajnekhali around – 5:55 PM.
• En-route to Sajnekhali, you will be served Evening Snacks.
• Enjoy almost two hours of Night cruise and experience for the first time the night sights and sounds of Sundarban (Outside the forest area) (Introduced for the first time).
• You will reach Sajnekhali between 7:30 PM – 8:00 PM.
• You may visit Pakhiralaya (Optional) between 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM, where you can do some shopping in the small island market and make different purchases of souvenirs, honey, local fish, and more.
• Thereafter your houseboat will cruise to Anchor Point near Pakhiralaya / Sajnekhali and anchor for the night. Here you can enjoy the late evening with a cup of tea/coffee biscuits, watch Sundarban’s documentaries or exclusive Tribal Dance performances by the locals (which is chargeable) between 7:45 PM – 9:30 PM
• Your dinner will be served between 9:00 PM – 10:00 PM. After you finish your dinner it is time for you to rewind and relax. The sound of water, forest, it’s beauty and power around you, will make your
  sleep epic, exciting, and peaceful.

Day 2

• If you would like to immerse yourself in divinity, spirituality with Meditation, Yoga, or a Surya Namaskar, you may wake up early by 4.30 AM – 5.30 AM (Depends on the time of the year) to witness a spectacular sunrise. You will literally feel the purity of the air and enjoy very peaceful, calm surroundings. Your hearing will become super sense as you will be able to hear a bird calling crystal clear almost 2 – 3 Km away.
• Enjoy all this with a cup of tea or coffee in your hand.
• The cruise will start towardsSajnekhali Watchtower between 7:00 AM – 7:15 AM, while moving beside the Sajnekhali forest you may get lucky and spot some of the splendid wildlife of Sajnekhali forest. At around 7.15 AM – 7.30 AM you will reach Sajnekhali. Here you will visit the Watch Tower,
  Mangrove Interpretation Centre (Sundarban Information Centre), Crocodile Pond, Turtle Pond, etc. and get a feel of the Sundarban forest as to how it looks from the inside.
• You will depart from Sajnekhali and cruise towards Sudhanyakhali at around 8.15 AM – 8.30 AM.
• En-route breakfast will be served between 8:30 AM – 8.45 AM.
• The excitement begins when you cruise amidst the dense Mangrove forest, trying intensely to spot any Royals or other wildlife of this unique delta. Your houseboat goes through the winding narrow channels and creeks to reach the Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower between 1.30 PM – 2 PM. En-route around 12.25 PM, you will be served Lunch.
• There you can spend some quality time touring one of its kind Mangrove Park observing and identifying the different species of mangroves found in Indian Sundarban. Thereafter you will find yourself deeply engrossed in spotting some wildlife from the Watchtower.
• Once you are back from the Watch Tower, the Houseboat will gradually move out of the forest and start cruising towards Godkhali around 3 PM.
• Your early Evening Tea / Coffee will be ready for you (self-service) around 3.30 PM while you are enjoying the picturesque scenery and sounds of Sundarban.
• Evening snacks will be served to you around 3.45 PM.
• Your Houseboat is scheduled to reach Godkhali between 4.00 PM – 4.30 PM.
• On reaching Godkhali, you will be boarding the AC Vehicles between4.45 PM – 5.45 PM for your journey back to Kolkata and arriving at your destination drop location between 8:10 PM – 8:40 PM.

For the first time, approximately two hours of Night Cruise on a houseboat in the Sundarban (outside the forest area) has been started.

For the best experience visiting the forest, interiors is recommended. However in case, the guest group is not interested to visit the forest and pay the forest permission charges, then the route will be revised by the Captain based on tidal conditions. • Your Houseboat will start its Day 2 cruise towards Dobanki, which is the most mysterious and furthest point on the southern part of the Sanctuary Zone. The core area or the silent zone starts from the south of Dobanki.
• Enroute breakfast will be served between 8:00 AM – 9.00 AM.
• The best and the most fascinating part of your tour begins as today you will see the most beautiful part of the Sundarban. Spend the whole day cruising inside the mysterious mangrove forest sometimes through wide and sometimes through very narrow channels. As soon as you enter one of the narrow channels, it gives you this eerie feeling of something is about to happen now. Your heart starts pounding hard inside in heightened expectation to see the Royal. Even a patch of Hetal (Tiger Palm) leaves looks like one and at this moment no one can make you believe otherwise. Once you are out of the Narrow stretch and enter the wider creek/channel, all your senses which were at the most heightened state till now start to relax. Thought in Sundarban when you are inside the forest cruising, you never know what is in store for you next. Always be alert and in search mode as most of the sightings of the Royals happens suddenly, only for a few seconds.
• You will reach Dobanki where you can experience the aerial view of the forest from the Canopy Walk which is almost 400 to 500 Meters long. If you are a daily walker then this is the place to make up for your lost daily walking time.
• We will cruise through numerous islands, like, Panchmukhani, Pirkhali, etc. via Gazikhali, the narrow channels of ChoraGazikhali and others, view the Panchmukhi, a junction point of 5 rivers and then cruise back deep into the forest and get a chance again to view the wildlife, especially the Royal Bengal Tigers.
• There if tide permits we will visit Jharkhali Watchtower.
• Your Houseboat will come out of the forest area by 4PM – 5.30 PM depending on tide and continue cruising towards Pakhiralaya to anchor the houseboat for the night.
• Once you are out of the forest you have the option of going for a village walk in Dayapur Island or Pakhiralaya. If you have opted for the Tribal Dance then by the time you are back from your village walk, the dance team will be waiting for you at the jetty. Once onboard, the Houseboat will move towards the middle of the river and temporarily anchor there.
• As soon as you settle down on the upper deck to enjoy your evening with the tribal dance performance, playing carom, reading books, watching a movie, or maybe spending some quality time with your family/friends with a hot debate/discussion on some current topics.
• Your evening snacks is served at 7.00 pm with another round of tea/coffee.
• Once the Tribal Dance performance is over, the dance team is de-boarded at the jetty and the houseboat moves towards the anchor point to anchor for the night.

Day 3

• Today is the third day to enjoy and immerse yourself in this moment of another beautiful morning blessed with divinity in the Sundarban. Breathe as much as you wish as this is the purest air you will get on this entire planet.
• The cruise will start towardsSajnekhali Watchtower between 7:00 AM – 7:15 AM, while moving beside the Sajnekhali forest you may get lucky and spot some of the splendid wildlife of Sajnekhali forest. At around 7.15 AM – 7.30 AM you will reach Sajnekhali. Here you will visit the Watch Tower, Mangrove Interpretation Centre (Sundarban Information Centre), Crocodile Pond, Turtle Pond, etc. and get a feel of the Sundarban forest as to how it looks from the inside.

• Early in the morning at around 6 AM – 7 AM your houseboat will start cruising towards BurirDabri, a beautiful place with a watchtower located deep in the forest and just beside the International Border between India and Bangladesh.
• On the way you will be passing through the historical site of  Morichhapi. You will cruise through numerous remote and isolated inhabited islands like Satjelia, ChotoMollakhali, Kumirmari, etc. This is a location in the extreme southeast of Sundarban (near Bangladesh
  border).
• You will reach Burirdabri Watch Tower at around 11.30 AM – 12.30 PM. On the way to the tower, you experience the walk through the famous Mud Walk. You will get a feeling of actually walking in the dense forest of Sundarban to reach the newly constructed concrete spiral watchtower which used to be a wooden watchtower earlier.
• From the Tower, you will be able to see the River Raimangal which also acts as the International Border Between India and Bangladesh.
  On the opposite side of this river, you will get a glimpse of the Bangladeshi Sundarban. You will start your journey back to Pakhiralaya at around 12.30 PM – 1.30 PM.
• Enroute Lunch will be served to you at around 1 PM – 2 PM.
• Evening Tea/Coffee will be served at around 5.30 PM.
  In the evening your houseboat will reach back at Pakhiralaya at around 6 PM – 6.30 PM and anchor for the night.
• You will be served with snacks at around 7.30 PM followed by dinner at around 9 PM -10 PM.

• Your all-inclusive package includes Pick up & Drop in AC vehicle ex Kolkata (Optional), all meals, Tour and Stay in AC Houseboat with amenities like full-fledged AC Rooms with attached bath, LED TV’s, Exclusive chef on board, Books Library, Movies Library, Board Games, Fishing rods, Telescope, Binoculars, sitting cum dining area with large LED TV, sun deck with easy chairs etc.
• At night the boat will be anchored in the river (No cruising).
• All meals are covered during the houseboat tour. You will always get piping hot food freshly prepared in the onboard fully equipped kitchen by our experienced chef. If you want anything special, we will definitely include that (chargeable).
• Three rooms come with attached individualized baths. Each room is a double-bed room, which can be customized to accommodate 14 guests in total. Deluxe Room (Room-1) is our A special double bedroom that can house 2 guests and is ideal for couples. Super Deluxe Room (Rooms 2 and 3) are our twin bedrooms (Can be joined to make it double or extended to accommodate 4 guests in each). There are additional 2 bunk beds available too in the room that are comfortable to the core. You can also avail tents and airbeds that can accommodate guests who would be more than adventurous to spend nights in the upper non-AC deck. Since it is a houseboat, your rooms and bathrooms are not humongous in size but comfortable and convenient enough to use.
• You will be getting off the houseboat many times, at various points.
• Visit villages, local Tribal Dance program, BonbibiJatra (Story of Forest Goddess presented in Drama form) or BaulGaan (Folk Song of Bengal Sung by Fakirs called Baul) may be arranged on request (Charges approx. Rs 4500/-).
